Fall Of The Mutants

The X-Men are believed dead — and living in the Australian Outback!

The vicious Marauders have already massacred the tunnel-dwelling Morlocks; now they plan to kill Cyclops’ estranged wife, Madelyne Pryor.

And if that means taking on the X-Men, that’s fine with them! Meanwhile, Freedom Force are also out to arrest the X-Men — while Storm embarks on a quest to find Forge.

But when Ororo discovers the evil Adversary pulling their strings, the X-Men must sacrifice their lives to stop him! The mutants may have fallen, but they’re not dead: They only want the world to think that! Instead, they’re on the other side of the planet, forging new lives in Australia — and facing more deadly threats, including the cyborg Reavers and the remorseless alien Brood! Chris Claremont’s epic run takes its next evolutionary step — with the blockbuster artwork of Marc Silvestri!
