Gunsmith Cats Omnibus

Chicago in the 1990s--a city of crime that means good business for two young women: bounty hunter partners Rally and Minnie-May, the Gunsmith Cats!
Fans will love this crime manga classic from the '90s from the character designer of Bubblegum Crisis, printed in an over-sized format and high-quality paper.
Rally Vincent runs Gunsmith Cats--a gun shop in Illinois with her partner, demolitions expert and former call girl Minnie-May Hopkins.

But Rally's "real" job doesn't pay the bills, her hobby does.

And her hobby is bounty hunting, bringing the most wanted men and women in the Chicago area to justice--dressed in her sharp suit and tie, and driving her Shelby Cobra GT 500!
In Gunsmith Cats Omnibus Volume 2, Rally goes downtown to pick up master thief Misty Brown, who's just gotten out of the slammer.

But Misty's no safer on the streets...not when it seems she stole some tape recordings that could incriminate a Mafia boss.

And especially not when Rally stands in the way of the person trying to get the tapes back--the perverted, ruthless Goldie Musso.
Misty may be the princess of cat burglars, but Goldie is the queen of the Mafia, and those she can't beat down, she can shoot up--with kerasine, a synthetic street drug that in Goldie's syringe-toting hands becomes a mind control tool of exquisite finesse.

Her newest subject is Rally Vincent, whom she intends to not only get revenge upon, but recruit into serving her own organization.

Goldie can do both if she ends Rally's old life--by brainwashing her into murdering detective Roy Coleman!
For mature audiences.
"...[Sonoda's] work on series such as Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force helped define the look of 1980s anime.

His first major manga, Gunsmith Cats, proved that Sonoda is a talented writer as well. (3 1/2 stars out of 4)"--Jason Thompson, Manga: The Complete Guide
"Muscled thugs stalking mean streets, fast cars, pretty girls, and enough munitions to equip a personal army...Gunsmith Cats is a superb series worthy of just about anyone's collection." --A.V.
