...But at Least There's Coffee

This Being Human, Book One: …But At Least There’s Coffee is a collection of 100 smart, funny, and surprisingly heartfelt robot comics about modern life, creativity, and the everyday absurdities we all face.

If you love workplace humor, AI jokes, existential comics, or relatable slice-of-life cartooning, this book belongs on your shelf.
Follow BASIC, PASCAL, Perl, Cobol, and Mister Fortran — a cast of anxious, overworked, and unexpectedly philosophical robots — as they navigate coffee addiction, employee training, terrible office jargon, algorithmic chaos, and the search for meaning in an increasingly automated world.

Each comic flips familiar setups (Mondays! Coffee! Meetings!) into something smarter, stranger, and more human than you’d expect.
Perfect for fans of Sarah’s Scribbles, The Far Side, xkcd, and existential webcomics, this collection blends dry humor with gentle insights about work, creativity, technology, burnout, and belonging.

Whether you’re an artist, a tech worker, a caffeine enthusiast, or simply someone trying to stay sane inside a world of constant updates, these comics will make you laugh, sigh, and say, “same.”
Warm, witty, and full of sharply observant humor, This Being Human is the ideal read for anyone who loves robot cartoons, AI satire, office comedy, or just a good cup of coffee with their existential crisis.
